A WOMAN has died in a horror smash with a police car on a high-speed chase.
Officers had been pursuing a suspected stolen vehicle in Oldham, Higher Manchester, this morning when the tragedy unfolded.
The 53-year-old girl was rushed to hospital with critical accidents after she was hit by a police car.
Sadly she could not be saved and was declared lifeless shortly after.
Chris Bowen, Chief Superintendent of GMP’s Oldham district stated; “Our honest ideas and condolences go to the household and pals of the girl that has sadly handed.
“We perceive that the general public are involved by incidents of this nature. In-line with regular process, referrals have been made to GMP’s Skilled Requirements Department and the Unbiased Workplace for Police Conduct.
“Investigations like this usually outcome in highway closures which might trigger important disruption and we thank the local people and highway customers for his or her persistence.”
