A MASSIVE fire has damaged out near what’s believed to be a weapons manufacturing unit in Derbyshire.
Locals near Wilne Mill, on Wilne Street, Draycott, have been told to maintain windows and doors shut.
Firefighters are at the moment coping with the incident that started on Friday evening.
The mill is owned by PW Defence which produces pyrotechnics for the Armed Forces and is thought regionally as “the fireworks manufacturing unit”.
One witness claimed they noticed a number of casualties being rushed away in ambulances following the horror.
Forensics groups have been later pictured donning white overalls as they attended the scene in a single day.
