Baldwin maintains his innocence, claiming that he didn’t pull the set off of the prop gun that led to a stray bullet hitting and killing Hutchins on the movie set in 2021, along with his attorneys calling the fees “a horrible miscarriage of justice.”
“This resolution distorts Halyna Hutchins’ tragic dying and represents a horrible miscarriage of justice. Mr. Baldwin had no cause to imagine there was a stay bullet within the gun – or anyplace on the film set,” the actor’s lawyer Luke Nikas stated.
